Applications are invited for initial recruitment to the following temporary, but likely to become permanent posts in various departments of Government of Balochistan:
IMPORTANT NOTES:
I Age Relaxation: Age will be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications.Those candidates who are overage upto three years should apply to the concerned Minister (Administrative Secretary in case of non-availability of Minister), upto five years to the Chief Secretary and upto ten years to the Chief Minister for grant of upper age relaxation within closing date for receipt of application form and a copy of said application should be attached with application form. However , formal order of the concerned competent authority in connection with age relaxation should reach the Commission before the date of written examination positively, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination.It is further pointed out that general relaxation of age without mentioning the post would not be accepted therefore, individual concerned/candidate must apply for relaxation in upper age limit for a specific post , as and when advertised in the news papers .
II Local/Domicile Certificate: The candidate should submit local/domicile certificate of his/her district. A married female candidate not already in Government service and desires to apply on the basis of local/domicile certificate of her husband, should submit the local/domicile certificate of her husband containing her name. In case of in-service candidates, the local/domicile certificate endorsed in service record of department will be accepted.
III The Government reserves the right not to fill any vacancy or to fill more or less than the number of vacancies announced by the Commission.
IV Zonal Allocation: The zonal allocation of vacancies has been made in accordance with the Government of Balochistan's Recruitment Policy of 1991.
V Experience : Unless otherwise prescribed in the recruitment rules, the requisite experience (with necessary valid documentary proof) means the post qualification experience gained in a regular, full -time paid job and that of the on job training subject to its relevancy acquired after obtaining the required qualification till closing date. Experience as part time, honorary, apprentice and internee will not be considered/counted as experience."
VI Eligibility: Eligibility of the candidates in terms of Recruitment Rules and the advertised conditions shall be determined after the conduct of screening/professional test/examination .On detailed scrutiny of the applications if they are found ineligible, their candidatures will be cancelled irrespective of the fact whether they have appeared in the examination/ test or even qualified therein. On rejection of applicantion of candidates on the basis of their ineligibility, the Commission would inform the applicants. If the applicant wants to appeal against the rejection he/she will have deposit a fee of Rs. 250/- The amount should be deposited in the State Bank/ National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury authorized to transact business on behalf of Government of Balochistan under the Head"C02101-ORGAN OF STATE EXAM. FEE RECEIPT BPSC".Appeals against such decision shall be heard and finally decided the Commission. The candidates should therefore, make sure before applying that they are eligible in all respects for the post, they have applied for.

First class B.E. Computer System Engineering Designing from a recognized University with five years experience in System Designing.
Age Limit: 25 to 40 years
Gender: Both Female & Male eligible
Syllabus: MCQs test in the relevant subject.
PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

Gender: Both Female & Male eligible
Syllabus: Subjective paper of three hours duration on English, Current Affairs and Economics.
MINES & MINERALS DEPARTMENT

IV Registered as an Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council
Gender: Only Male eligible
Syllabus: MCQs test in the relevant technology.

Age Limit (For S.No.2 to 5) 21 to 30 years (The upper age limit for Government Servants having two years continuous service stands relaxed up to 35 years).
CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS IS 3RD MAY, 2008.
a) The applications on the prescribed form must reach the Balochistan Public Service Commission, Quetta by hand or by mail on or before 3-5-2008 (Saturday) during office hours .
b) No extra time is allowed for postal transit etc.
TESTIMONIALS (To be attached with the application form):
1 Attested copies of Matriculation to final academic qualification (certificates & degrees) along-with details marks sheets.
2 Attested copy of Local/Domicile certificate.
3 Duly deposited treasury challan (Green original) of Rs. 500/- for BPS-18 & Rs. 300/- for BPS-17 and as examination fee (Original) and one photostat copy of deposited Challan.
4 Five attested fresh (passport size) photographs bearing the name and parentage of candidate. Two photgraphs must be pasted with gum on the specific place provided on the application form.
5 Three character certificates (One from Head of last attended Educational Institution and two from different Gazetted Officers)(for fresh candidates).
6 Departmental Permission from the Competent Authority (For in-service candidates).
7 Experience Certificate (where required) from the Competent Authority.
8 Attested copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORMS:
Application forms are available in the Commission's office situated at Samungli Road, (Near Railway Crossing), Quetta Cantt: on production of Treasury Challan (Green Colour) (duly deposited) of Rs. 500 for BPS-18 Rs., 300 for BPS-17 & Rs. 200 for BPS-16 on any working day during Office Hours. Request for application form will also be complied by Commission's office if accompanied by self addressed large size envelope bearing Postage Stamps of Rs.25/-
APPLICATION FEE:
The candidates are required to attach with the application form the original treasury receipt of Rs. 500 for BPS-18 & 300 for BPS-17 . The amount should be deposited in the State Bank/ National Bank of Pakistan or Government Treasury authorized to transact business on behalf of Government of Balochistan under the Head" C02101-ORGAN OF STATE EXAM.
