ADVERTISEMENT NO.06/ 2008

Applications are invited for filling in the following temporary but likely to become permanent vacancies of SECTION OFFICER B-17 & BCS (EB) OFFICER B-17 in the Services & General Administration Department by initial recruitment through Competitive Examination based on the Syllabus prescribed under the Rules.


ZONAL ALLOCATION:




QUALIFICATION:

Graduate from a Recognised University.

AGE LIMIT

Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years (on 1st of January, 2008).
The upper age limit for Government Servants having Two Years continuous service stands relaxed up to 35 years.


THE FOLLOWING CONCESSIONS IN AGE LIMIT ADMISSIBLE:


1. In case of person whose services under the Government have been terminated for want for vacancy, the period of service already rendered by him/ her for the purpose of upper age limit will be excluded from his/ her age.
2. In case of Ex-Defence personal, the interval between the date of their release from the Defence of Pakistan and date of re-employment in the Civil Department subject to a maximum of SEVEN years shall for the purpose of reckoning the upper age be excluded from their age.

3. Employees of Autonomous Bodies like WAPDA and Local Bodies are not eligible for this concession.

ELIGIBLILITY:

Both Male and Female Citizens of Pakistan who are Local/ Domiciled Residents of Balochistan. Persons already in Government/ Semi-Government service should apply through proper channel.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

Three (03) both for serving and non-serving candidates. Those candidates who have already availed three chances are not eligible.

APPLICATION FEE

Candidates should be careful that Examination Fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) must be deposited in the State Bank / National Bank or Govt. Treasury on prescribed Provincial (Green Colour) Challan Form under the Head “C-02101–Organ of State Examination Fee Balochistan Public Service Commission”


IMPORTANT NOTES

a. All candidates should submit Local/ Domicile Certificate from the Competent Authority of his/ her District. In case of in-service candidate, the Local/ Domicile Certificate endorsed in service record of department will be accepted.

b. No application will be entertained after the expiry of last date fixed for receipt of applications.


c. The Government reserves the right not to fill any vacancy or to fill more or less than the number of vacancies announced by the Commission.+


d. The zonal allocation of vacancies has been made in accordance with the Govt. of Balochistan Recruitment Policy of 1991.

e. The candidates are required to fill and attach Optional Paper Certificate available as last page of Syllabus by indicating their optional subjects. Option of subjects once exercised shall be final and no change will be entertained. Application not accompanied by Optional Paper Certificate shall liable to be rejected.

f. Incorrect / suppressed information in various columns of Application Form render a candidate to be disqualified.

TESTIMONIALS: (To be attached with the Application Form):


(i) Matriculation to final academic qualification Certificates/ Degrees along-with detail marks certificates.
(ii) Local / Domicile Certificate from the Competent Authority.
(iii) Original Treasury Challan of Examination Fee Rs.500/- (duly deposited)
(iii) Five Latest Photographs (duly attested).

(iv) Three Character Certificates (One from Head of Educational Institution last attended and two from different Gazetted Officers not related to the applicant (for non-serving candidates).
(v) Departmental Permission Certificate (for in-service candidates).
(vi) Copy of Computerized National Identity Card.
(vii) Proforma of Optional subjects.

NOTE:-
i) Candidates are advised to fill in the Application Form carefully and attach all relevant documents as mentioned above.
ii) Non-submission of certificates and non-payment of examination fee will result in rejection of the application.
iii) Incomplete Applications shall be rejected.

AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORMS

Candidates should apply on the prescribed Application Form obtainable from the BPSC Office, Samungli Road (Near Railway Crossing) Quetta Cant: on production of Treasury Challan (duly deposited) of Rs.500/- on any working day. Candidates outside Quetta City can also obtain the application form by registered post by sending their self-addressed large size envelope bearing Rs.25/- postage stamps.
